Welcome to my website ...
Welcome and I hope you enjoy the site, your comments are always welcome in the Guest area!
I paint and teach in North Dorset. My work is primarily large scale oils, both portraits and landscapes, but I do love watercolours and my primary ambition is to be good at using them! My inspiration, as long as I can remember, has been faces and figures and the countryside around me. Once Okeford Fitzpaine and Bulbarrow hills, now Ashmore Down, Win Green, Hod and beyond!
I try to balance my Teaching time by being in the shed as much as possible. It is the only time I feel completely at one with the world! In a time when people find it hard to have reward from their work I feel very blessed that I am able to have my nurture time in the shed and then to also nurture others who also have a need to paint. Needless to say my students are FABULOUS!
My future plans are to venture into painting holidays and I will be giving you information about this as it reaches comprehendible status!
Thankyou to family and friends who have enabled me to reach my goal. Life takes you on a journey, I have travelled my circle and am now doing my '8yr olds' dream! My mantra is we can all achieve what we want, we have to work hard and enable ourselves to do it, but it can be done.
